    Vintage Crocheted Square Pattern:
    This pattern contains directions for making a pinwheel square. It can either be made of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. When joined the squares form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, and other household articles.   Crochet this square at 7-1/2 or 10 inches.
    This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7189 in 1948.
    This is an original pattern, not a reproduction, that is an extra in my Vintage Knit Crochet Pattern Shop.
