Vintage Crochet Magazines Clark's ONT J&P Coats Edgings and Handkerchief Edgings

Up for bid are Two Crochet Pattern Magazines: Clark's ONT J&P Coats "Edgings" and Clark's ONT J&P Coats "Handkerchief Edgings", from 1947 and 1949, respectively. Edgings contains crochet patterns to edge lingerie, children's wear, handkerchiefs, towels, linens, and more! Handkerchief Edgings contains patterns to edge, well, handkerchiefs. But all kinds of handkerchiefs - section headings include "Will You Be Mine? Dainty edgings with come-hither ways" (?), "Dry Those Tears", and "Angel Lace". These patterns are timeless and would still be a sweet way to pretty-up a plain hankie. The magazines could also serve as guides for costumers or historians. They are in very good used condition considering their age. There is yellowing due to age, some small stains, a little bending, and a store stamp on some pages. And, full disclosure, they also are a little musty. But I think some time in the sun would clear that right up.
These would be a great present for your friend who is running out of things to crochet.
