This is an original, vintage Ronald Reagan White House Presidential Guest Pin gifted to a member of the Reagan Administration who worked in the White House. These pins were issued by the Secret Service to vetted White House guests who were cleared for access to the President. The pin was required to be worn at all times while in the White House and returned upon departure. The oval pin is made of gold-tone metal and blue enamel, and is emblazoned with
the Presidential Seal
. For security purposes, pin designs were occasionally modified. Vintage Reagan White House Presidential Guest Pins are exceptionally rare and especially prized.
