    Description

RARE: 1991 REAGAN PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY DEDICATION MEMORABILIA
THE HISTORIC EVENT AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE
    * This November 4th will be the 40th anniversary of Ronald Reagan's election
as President of the United States in 1980.
    * This November 4th also will be the 30th anniversary of the Dedication Ceremonies
    for the opening of the
Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum
in Simi Valley, CA in 1991.
It was a great honor for me to attend this proud, well-deserved and unique event in Ronald Reagan's life and in presidential history...and seated just about 1/2 dozen rows from the "president's dais.":):)
    THE GUESTS OF HONOR
    * It was then and remains still the largest gathering of current and former presidents ever
.  The (5) present that day were
President George H.W, Bush and former presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and, of course, Ronald Reagan.
    * And presidential spouses totaled an incredible (6) in all:
First Lady Barbara Bush and former First Ladies Lady Bird Johnson, Patricia Nixon, Betty Ford, Rosalynn Carter and Nancy Reagan were all there on the dais.
    * Even John and Caroline Kennedy were present
on the dais to represent their father, President John F. Kennedy.
THIS IS THE ORIGINAL PROGRAM AND DEDICATION VIP TICKET. I AM THE ORIGINAL RECIPIENT OF BOTH.
THIS ITEM WILL BE A "FOREVER" PIECE OF HISTORY FOR YOU FELLOW BUFFS & REAGAN ADMIRERS
TO ENJOY, ADMIRE, SHOW AND SHARE.
    CUSTOM FRAMING DETAILS
I HAD THE PROGRAM AND VIP TICKET BEAUTIFULLY FRAMED TO FOREVER COMMEMORATE THE DAY AMERICA HONORED ONE OF ITS GREATEST PRESIDENTS, SOME WOULD SAY THE GREATEST.
    * The frame dimensions are  24 1/4" wide by 23" tall.
    * The framing includes (2) different non-fade, non-acidic mattings.
    * The program and ticket are inlaid in (5) distinctive custom cuts each bordered by elegant gilded wood.
    * UV+ glass has and will continue to protect it from light and sun rays.
    * It was a very expensive, custom framing job expertly done by the
    professional staff
at The Frame Store, May 29, 2001 near my home in Belmont Shore, Long Beach.
    * 20 years later the program and ticket remain in mint condition, a credit to the superior work and quality products used by the Frame Store.
    * This beautiful piece of Reagan history will last several lifetimes.
    SHIPPING
    * It will be well packaged and will be shipped First Class ground unless you would like a specific carrier and delivery speed.
    * The buyer pays shipping costs, thank you.
    * Im a big believer that the purchaser should dictate how they want their newly purchased item sent to them and at what cost, not me.
    * So please let me know your preferences.  (I always encourage insurance be purchased for rare items like this.)
And, please, if you have any questions whatsoever get in touch and I'll get back to you promptly.
Oh, and all reasonable offers will gladly be considered.
So don't be shy or reluctant.
    * I would like to see this moment in history hang in the home or office of a Reaganite like myself but is only an emotional preference certainly not a requirement of any potential purchaser:)
    * I worked on Capitol Hill before, during and after the Reagan presidency.
    * President Reagan, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Pope John Paul II are my heroes....and I have great admiration for the wisdom, foresight and especially courage of Mikhail Gorbachev.
    * And yes, in the last photo, that is a nice hunk of the Berlin Wall inside the pedestal with the Reagan, JPII busts.
    * I purchased it in Berlin on German Reunification Day along Unter den Linden Avenue which goes through the Brandenburg Gate. This broad majestic historic avenue was closed to traffic to allow for the fun street fair-type atmosphere on German Reunification Day, October 3, 1990.
    TMI....sorry:)
