    Description

The magnificent Hellenistic age is reflected by Montblanc's Patron of Art Edition 'Hommage à Alexander the Great'.
The gold-plated cap of Edition 4810, shaped like a slender Doric column, is richly ornamented with lotus flowers, the combination of which form a fascinating contrast to the black lacquer barrel . Gold-colored veins flow through its black, finely marbled lacquer.
This is a near-mint, numbered edition.  For sale is no. 0184 out of 4810.  It is piston-filled, and has a medium nib in gold, which has been inked only once.  It comes in its original presentation polished wood box, with bronze numbered name plate.  This is one of the rarer of the justly notable, and highly sought-after, Montblanc limited edition pens.
I have collected pens for 20 years and specialized in the exquisite limited editions of Montblanc, Omas, Delta, Pelican, etc.  All are mint or near-mint condition as they were inked only once just so I could feel the ease, smoothness, and beauty of the nib.  It is time to thin out my collection as, like all collections, they tend to sit on shelves after the initial 'honeymoon'.  I hope to find good homes for these lovely, hand-made and crafted, works of art.
This is, of course, an authentic item, and I will accept a return if it is anything other than how I have described.
Please do not hesitate to ask any question or to request additional photographs or high resolution copies of the images above.
