MONTBLANC PATRON OF THE ART ELIZABETH I 4810 LIMITED EDITION FOUNTAIN PEN
    (M) nib.
Elizabeth I built up 16th century England into a world power and created the foundation for a historic age of culture. Montblanc honors surely the most famous female monarch of Great Britain with an edition consisting of two fountain pens of the very finest quality: the “Limited Edition Patron of Art Elizabeth I” is limited to 4810 fountain pens and in an even finer edition limited to 888 writing instruments.
The brilliant lacquer of both writing instruments is modeled on the royal garments of Elizabeth I. With the Tudor rose and the cross of the British Crown, the royal insignia put their stamp on the cap, which is crowned with a green cabochon on the clip. In addition the words “Video et taceo” engraved on the cap ring recall the supreme principle of Elizabeth I’s government.
At the same time, there are also traces of Elizabeth I’s childhood days to be found: the fine engravings on the gold-plated fittings recall the artistic embroidery of the book “The Glass of the Sinful Soul” – the book that Elizabeth I designed herself at the age of eleven. This extraordinary edition is completed with the ivory-colored Montblanc emblem on the cap head and the royal crown engraved on the 18 K gold nib.
