    Description

    This 5 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch black-bordered card was sent out by Mrs. Kennedy after JFK’s death, engraved: ‘Mrs. Kennedy is deeply appreciative of your sympathy and grateful for your thoughtfulness.’ Comes with the original, black-bordered, addressed transmittal envelope (no post marks), with her uncommon printed free-frank as ‘Jacqueline Kennedy.’  These are now quite scarce items.
