    Description

    This is a great 19th century copper gallon measure or tankard that has no dents or dings; is tapered; dovetailed under the handle; has a rolled rim; and is polished and lacquered. It has a wonderful tubular handle that is connected to the body with original copper rivets (see photos). It is 6 5/8” diameter at bottom; 5 5/8” diameter at top; 8 1/2” high; and weighs 2 5/8 pounds. It is unsigned. They don’t get any better than this one.
