    Description

    Rather than the typical copper ones, this is an uncommon antique brass 1/2 gallon English haystack measure. (See photos) It is all brass, including the rivets that connect the handle to the body. It is dovetailed under the handle, and is in fine condition, having several shallow dents on the handle. It is also marked “1/2 GALLON” in the front (see photo). It is 7 1/2” diameter at base; 7 1/2” high; and weighs 2 1/2 pounds. It is polished (darker areas in photos are shadow/reflection). A fine addition to any collection.
