Circa 1970 Montblanc 149 Diplomat Fountain Pen M Nib EXCELLENT

Description

This is a beautiful older model 149 from a local estate. The pen has a black cap & barrel, with gold plated trim. The pen has plastic threads under the blin cap, and a 2-tone 14K gold nib. The nib is a medium firm, but writes like a slightly wider nib ( I will call it a medium+). Overall condition of this pen is excellent. No cracks, damage, or engraving on the cap or barrel, no cap trim brassing, and no nib damage. There is a little wear on the thin gold band between the barrel knob and barrel. The pen fills and is in working condition. I would date this pen to around 1970 because the nib is 2-tone 14K, the feed has no grooves, and the barrel has black plastic threads under the plunger knob. This is a beautiful original pen!
