    Description

    This is an original antique uncut cigar label sheet for a box of General Arthur Operas made by Kerbs, Wertheim & Schiffer.   These cigars were marketed using the likeness of Chester Arthur, the 21st President of the United States and former Union Army Brigadier General during the Civil War.
    This label sheet measures about 18.5” x 9.5” and is uncut and still has the margins around the edges
    I find some references to these cigars being sold in 1901 and 1902 so I think this label sheet dates to around that time period.    This sheet is an antique original with beautiful color very suitable for framing or display.  The sheet shows moderate handling wear and has a couple light crease and short tears on the edges.  Overall condition is very good.  Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
