2010. Belarus. Municipal Arms of Belarus Towns. Gantsevichi. MNH
A municipal arms of Gantsevichi represents the image of a Varangian shield on the blue ground of which there are two silver cranes. In the upper right part of the ground there is a gold five-pointed star and a half-moon under it.
Gantsevichi was never granted the Magdeburg rights and didn’t have its municipal arms in the past.
The main figures of the modern municipal arms of the town are the upwards rushing cranes. They are the symbol of the nature of Polesie region, of striving for future, of peaceableness and happiness. The gold star and half-moon are elements of the nobiliary coat of arms of S.Gutten-Chapski to whom Gantsevichi belonged at the end of XIX century.
The author of the official heraldic symbol of Gantsevichi is V. R.  Prokurat the chief architector of the region.
